    Endless possibilities
I’ve been a fan of Phillips Hue for a long time. Each time I add lights or accessories, the setup process gets easier. I had to add another bridge for this room since I had maxed out the number of lights and devices on the original bridge. Setup was smooth and easy and adding each of the lights and light strips was a breeze. Once I had everything set the way I liked it, creating the scene was as simple as naming it and saving it. The price is certainly a premium but for the functionality and dependability I’ll stick with Hue.

Bright with accurate colors, but expensive with underwhelming adhesive backing.
In short, this light strip is expensive but it offers a good level of brightness (1700 lumens) and vibrant, accurate colors. I’m using it for indirect uplighting on a shelf in my living room so I don’t need to worry about “hotspots” or diffusing the LEDs. The ability to adjust colors and brightness through the app as well as through my numerous Echo Dots is the main selling point for me. I use Alexa routines and a Hue dimmer switch to control it, and have had no issues. That said, the adhesive backing is a bit underwhelming. It didn’t stick as securely as I expected, and I had to use additional adhesive strips to keep it in place. Also, the price is on the higher side compared to other LED strips, especially when factoring in the need for a Hue Bridge for full functionality. I have already bought into the Hue ecosystem pretty extensively so I was prepared for this but if you haven’t, it might be worth going with a cheaper alternative.Overall, it’s a high-quality product with great lighting effects, but the adhesive and cost are worth considering before purchasing.

Easy to install. Easy to use
This has created a whole different vibe in my room. Love the variety of colors and that I can change the color or brightness with a simple starting to Alexa. I need more of these throughout my house

Bright of needed, soft of not. Easy to put up and connect.
These work great with the sync box. We have these in the room adjoining our living room and it gives an added distant splash of color while watching movies. It also works as a nice customizable accent light when not watching a movie. The lights in our other room were too harsh and had poor area coverage. We now use these as our only light source in that room and they can be very bright or softer, based on our preferences.

    Brilliant and versatile
The adhesive on this works well and lets it be adhered around an inside corner (as opposed to the outside where it would bend around a pillar or edge for example). Choosing an elevation near a ceilling gives excellent light coverage with little to no glare, and when it’s white it’s WHITE, not a bright purple which a lot of cheaper RGB brands offer. The Philips app for smart phones and desktop computers lets you have dynamic lighting, with appropriate setup even to mood match the time of day or full-screen gaming session you’re having.I almost didn’t consider this because of its high price as compared to other light strip products, but the app support and overall lighting quality and versatility have proved to be worth it.

Control with the app–Color your space
First, I am a HUGE Philips Hue fan. I have a large and tall bookcase and when having electrical work done in another part of the house, I was “brilliant” (light bulb pun) enough to have the electrician put an out let at the top of this over 10 foot tall beast. My house does not get as much natural light to the interior as my previous house so having this glow against the bit of wall left and the ceiling really adds. Of course, the granddaughters (which is why I moved here) have chosen a seasonal color pallette–for Halloween and they love the scenes that the light changes–and they like it to change faster than slower. I can quickly change to “Read” to have more light that you can read by (vs orange and purple and the like). It installed easily, connected right off and works. I love this light strip. I contemplated the newer strip with the ability to change the lighting along the strip, but the price was too much for me. However, this is great. Hue users know that there are pre-done scenes or make your own or choose from the color wheel.

    Amazing light strips
Very beautiful and bright lights. Using these strip lights as part of Apple Homekit and hanging these over my cabinet. 50-75% is as bright as I need them. I would highly recommend these lights for anyone who wants to fix up a room or want extra lighting

Colors are beautiful and app is easy to use.Only issue is with the double sided tape for sticking the lights to things…hasn’t held up. But otherwise they are great!

These leds are beyond comparison. They are a bit pricy compared to competitors but totally worth it.I use it light a painting and despite being close to the wall, you can barely see the individual leds.
