These planters are awesome!
The planters are beautiful for creating a little penthouse look on my balcony. I bought the large 30″ high by 38″ wide and only 8″ width; narrow and sleek. Felt a little flimsy at first, but not after I weighted them. I face ACNJ and am in a condo. I wanted to elevate the space and create some privacy from the street also; I’m on the third and fourth floors. They looking stunning from the inside as well. They were light enough to maneuver into place by myself. I weighted the bottom section with bags of peagravel. I left the gravel in the bags. The top inserts were weighted with 6x6x1 pavers placed on their sides and then I added 4 faux cedar trees 3.5 feet high per planter; they pushed into place perfectly. If god forbid a hurricane with super high winds, I can disassemble and bring inside without worrying about dragging in loose stones or soil into my unit. So far they have been through 30 mph winds and heavy rain and were fine. I did not use the plugs and had no problem with drainage or excessive water on the balcony at all. The only con is they are expensive, but well worth the look. I love them! Thanks, Veradek! ❤️🥳 #myveradek

Beautiful and great quality
These planters are amazing! I get so many compliments. Love that the material of the planter is lightweight but high quality material, look expensive. Everyone asks where I found these!!! Would buy more if I had the space!

Just beautiful
Like many of the other reviewers , I purchased this for my outdoor patio. It takes my little condo living to a nice new level. The black color is just the touch of class that I was hoping for. I have had this for 6 months and it has held up nicely.It is filled with artificial plants so drainage is not an issue. It was very easy to assemble and while it may seem a little pricey the finished look is so well worth it.

I was looking to elevate this small awkward space at my front porch with a touch of modern and the Veradek Planter was perfect choice!Design:While the planter is sleek and minimalistic, the black rectangular modern look provides a beautiful visual contrast with the plants which makes them stand out stunningly.Durability:It’s made of a high-grade plastic and has held up great against the extreme heat we’ve had all summer as well as against the storms. It’s also very lightweight making it easy to move. Do not buy, low quality and impossible to return
Ordered this thinking it would be sturdy and able to withstand multiple seasons outside however once received realized product is very low quality it was already starting to come apart in one of the corners and the material was very light and cheap. Spent around 5 hours total calling and talking to various amazon reps, some saying since this is a third party seller you have to go to the site of the seller to review their return policy, which by the way almost impossible to do and assuming you are able to somehow navigate to the return policy it is still very ambiguous as to whether the buyer or seller needs to pay; to one saying that ANYTHING sold on amazon has to have an option to return it for free. That amazon rep even sent me an email confirming that i can pay for the return and that amazon will reimburse me for the shipping. So i took the three boxes to UPS who quoted me around 120 dollars PER item to ship, so BEFORE i spent more money on this product i decided to call amazon once more just to confirm that i will be on fact reimbursed as they other rep told me and emailed me to confirm. This rep stated that i would need to submit the receipt for reimbursement and then another department would need to approve the reimbursement of the shipping after a refund for the product has been issued. So instead or shelling out over 300 more dollars for a product i deem as inferior i decided to take the boxes back home, call my credit card company and dispute the charge. Terrible customer service from aamzon and very shady business practices from the seller, i suggest to stay away from this seller and product.

Perfect for a space divider
I have 3 of these that I put out on my balcony for privacy. They are narrow and tall, and fit a lot of plants. They seem to keep the plants well-hydrated. You can put drain plugs in the liner, or in the bottom of the base. I put plastic jugs full of water in the bottom base to weigh them down. Even in the strongest wind on the 5th floor, the planters never toppled over. I love the modern look, and while they are a little flimsy when the liner box isn’t installed, they are quite sturdy with it in. I would purchase again!Three things I would improve:1. It’s really hard to remove the liner from the base when full of soil. A small tab or finger hole to tip up an edge from the flush-mounted box would help.2. I brought the liner boxes in for the winter (my geraniums are happy all winter indoors!). To protect my floors from drainage, I had to order some trays that are longer and wider than necessary from a different source. I wish the company made trays for the liner boxes for this purpose.3. The provided drain plugs are NOT foolproof. If installed from the bottom, they can be pushed out, and if installed from the top, difficult to remove if there is soil and/or the liners in.

Love this planter. Very nice looking and very well made. I am using it indoors, but like the product description says, it can also be used outdoors. Good quality. Delivery within 2 days -not 7 days as initially indicated when I placed the order! Well packaged for transport.

These Varadek planter boxes are awesome. We used them along our fence line to bring plant life to an otherwise dull looking fence and to provide a visual barrier for our puppies to minimize sight lines to other dogs and people. They love to bark. They are a bit pricey but perform well and are aesthetic pleasing.

A very nice looking planter. I purchased the 30 inch tall by 34 inch wide one in black. The black is a soft black and not a pure dark black. I like the removable planter box that sits inside but buyer beware, the planter is very tippy as it’s quite top heavy once you fill it with dirt and plants. Something the manufacturers did not consider when designing this. You will have to put very heavy large rocks on the bottom of the box, which seems to help somewhat but it is still tippy.

I purchased a set of various-sized planters to add to my front porch, to create a bit of a privacy area (we have a stray feral and new neighbors) so wanted to create a little haven for our furry guy, along with beautifying the front. Planters arrived timely, one had a dent and rough inside molding. Informed Amazon/vendor. Vendor promptly replied and sent a replacement with no hassle and good communication throughout the process. Thank you Veradek. The plants are of quality heavy plastic- but you do need to add some weight to the bottom to prevent the taller ones from blowing over as they can become top-heavy with plants. The inside is deep and allows for large-size plants. I am still working on the decor, but for the winter have placed faux plants and will move to pot annuals/perennials in spring.My past neighbour had Veradek planters and said her outside planters were over 8 years old and still looking great. I look forward to switching up the decor in spring.
