4.5 stars; works well but not perfect; worth the price. Overall, I recommend it.How I’m using it: I have it connected to a lightning port on a windows laptop via the included USB-to-USB-C adapter. I also have two external screens connected via HDMI cables and dongles for both a wireless mouse and keyboard connected through the two USB ports.Pros:*The picture on all three screens is just as good as when I plug the monitor cables directly into the laptop.*The mouse and keyboard work.*It is very easy to switch the external set up between laptops by moving the one docking station cable. I use both a personal and work computer, and this is the key reason I wanted a docking station.*I did not need to download any drivers or software; just plug and play.*Price is lower than similar models.*Love the fun colors.*I have not needed to plug the docking station into its own power source; it is running fine just by being plugged into the computer.Cons:*There is occasionally some latency with the mouse and/or keyboard that I hadn’t noticed when the dongles were connected directly to the laptop. But it doesn’t happen often and resolves after a minute or two.*I wish the docking cable were natively USB-C. The adapter is fine, but it’s an extra piece that might get lost and it is ever so slightly wider than fits comfortably next to the power cable on one of my laptops where the two lightning ports are right next to each other.Neutral:*It doesn’t charge the laptop, so you still have to have a separate power input. If your laptop won’t send a display connection out of a USB port and it only has one lightning port and you need to have it plugged in, I don’t think this will work for you. My laptops both have two lightning ports.*I have not used the memory card inputs or headphone or microphone jacks on the docking station, so no comment on those.

Extend multiple screens on hp laptop with type c data only port
Worked perfectly to extend my hp laptop to 3 screens. My laptop has a type c data only port. This allowed me to use standard usb for the adapter allowing multiple hdmi. Much cheaper than a dock.

Ürünün m1-m2-m3 serisi cihazlar ile uyumlu olması ve görüntüyü kaliteli şekilde aktarması çok güzel ancak üründe şöyle bir problem var . En ufak bir voltaj oynamasında bile monitördeki görüntü gidip geliyor. Minimal seviyedeki voltaj oynamalarından çok etkileniyor . Bu sorunu yaşayan evlerde sinir bozucu olabilir . Ve ayrıca PD destekli type-c ile bağlantılı bir ürün olsaydı daha kullanışlı olabilirdi

Ho acquistato questo adattatore per rendere un pochino più agevole il passaggio cavi sulla mia postazione da smart working.Una volta ricevuto l’oggetto, la prima cosa che ho notato è stato il packaging e l’aspetto esteriore dell’oggetto: la scatola è molto gradevole e anche il design e i materiali sono pregevoli anche se avrei preferito un cavetto più lungo.Le dimensioni non sono eccessive e il quantitativo di porte è più che adeguato.All’interno della scatola è presente un cavo USB, di cui però non ho avuto necessità in quanto questo adattatore riceve tutta l’energia necessaria dalla porta USB, che può essere di tipo A oppure di tipo C attraverso l’adattatore contenuto nella confezione.Prima di collegarlo ho scaricato i driver necessari alla gestione multimonitor dal sito della Synaptics, dato che recentemente ha acquisito la tecnologia DisplayLink. Sul microsoft store è presente anche un app per la gestione audio / video dei monitor ma si riesce a fare tutto anche solo col pannello di controllo di windows.E’ da precisare che per poter utilizzare la modalità estesa dei monitor è necessario che entrambi siano collegati tramite HDMI. Altra nota da ricordare è che solo la porta 1 dell’HDMI permette anche il passaggio audio.Non so come si comporti a più alte risoluzioni ma attualmente gestisce due monitor in fullHD senza particolari problemi, sfarfallii o instabilità della connessione.Pertanto mi sento di consigliare l’oggetto.
