Replaced one 2-prong outlet, going into a bulky power strip, housing several wires, wiith this one compact unit . Moreover it enabled me to directly plug 2 USB-C cords as well as 2 USB cords, plus a bunch of regular 3 prong electrical cords. Then, smartly hide the entire outlet under my wife’s nightstand, eliminating an unsightly gaggle of wires. Bought a 2nd one because it worked so well for my laptop and accessories. I keep it in the backpack I use for traveling. 8 outlets are more than I need but great to have. The shape makes it easier than a long strip. 4 USB ports are a bonus. I like the 15 amp toggle switch that works as a circuit breaker in case of overload. Flat 3 pronged plug has been convenient on the 1st unit I have. Quality plug and braided cord that is also flat. Shipping box is minimal and worked perfectly. I bought this item again.
