Belkin did well here. The plastic feels high end and solid. Not brittle. The power cord is heavy-duty. I love the discrete profile and the muted, sophisticated color scheme. The unit is heavy and balanced enough to lay flat on the floor. If it were possible, I would say this surge protector elevates my entire home office aesthetic.Was it a surprise to pay $20-$30 for a surge protector? Yes. Will I be solely sourcing surge protectors from Belkin in the future? If they keep this build quality, yes. And my charging cords for phones. And any other technology accessory I need in the future. Wanted something for all my power adapters,have more than 12,was looking at a power bar at CTC,4 ft. long,12 outlets,50$,no protection.Seen this one,bought 2,cheaper than the bar & it has protection + Belkin offers a Lifetime warranty [can’t beat that]I also didn’t buy them for protection,I just needed outlets for many power adapters,but the protection is nice. 2 cost me less than the power bar I was going to get + now I have 12 plugs for power adapters [14 if you use the last plug on the strip]& extra outlets for regular plugsI quite happy with them,I trust they will last,I have dollar store power bars that still work after many years [just don’t overload them,they’re mainly designed for electronics not power tools & vacuums ect..]they look good too,& the 8 ft. cords is very handy,from all my searches for a power bar,these have the best value for looks,functionality & money,I’ll probably buy a few more to give as gifts that people can actually use [everyone could use one]at 20$ you can’t go wrong [got mine at 16.99 ea.-46$ in total] I trust Belkin products,I have had a few products without any issues.& of course they arrived early,less than a week.Now I have task of untangling all these cords/power supplies,& neatly hook them up properly.[what a mess]UpdateApril 3/2013no complaints,plenty of plugs for those hard to fit adapter,happy I got 2,a must if you have a lot of computer accessories.

A pesar de que el precio podría ser un poco elevado, estás pagando por la calidad del producto. Los espacios entre los conectores laterales es suficiente como para poder conectar eliminadores de corriente estorbosos sin obstruir el resto de los contactos. En efecto te avisa si tu conexión no está aterrizada. Tiene unas pequeñas compuertas para evitar que alguien o algo pudiera hacer corto circuito en los conectores desocupados. También tiene un gancho el parte inferior para organizar tus cables y entrada y salida de coaxial (aunque no la he ocupado aún)
