It’s funny how, when you get used to a keyboard/mouse set and decide you like it, it’s extremely difficult to get used to a different one. I’ve been ordering this combo for years now, and even after trying other sets, I always come back to my good ol’ Amazon Basics Keyboard+Mouse combo. :)I’m hard on keyboards and I like to have an extra mouse around, so I go through about 1-2 of these per year using it 40-45 hours per week.For the price, consistency, quality, and durability, it’s hard to beat it. I’m a big fan of this set and will continue to order it for as long as it’s available.

Super cheap yet works amazing!
I bought this when I was in a pinch and needed a wired keyboard and mouse to set up my new PC. Since I set it up I was going to switch back to my ergonomic Bluetooth mouse and keyboard but they’re still sitting on the side of my desk as I write this because I enjoy using these so much. The mouse is surprisingly responsive and the keyboard has a satisfying key click. The only thing is the keys are slippery so if your nails are even a little long, the typing feel is uncomfortable. I will have to switch back to my ergonomic keyboard at some point but for now I’m loving this one.

Maybe this bundle just came out or something. I don’t think the keyboard or mouse are any different than their standalone items, so you can probably read up on both of them by searching for reviews for each of the items in this bundle separately. Nonetheless, this is the bundle I bought, so I’m listing my review here.Both seem like great items after the first day of use. I cannot comment on long-term usefulness, longevity, or durability yet, of course. But I’d recommend this bundle to anyone looking for a cheap and simple setup. The keyboard is a little “clacky” in my opinion – makes a decent amount of noise when typing rapidly – but that’s alright for my use since it’s just being connected to a desktop in my room, and I don’t share a room with anyone else. It might be somewhat annoying late at night if you have a roommate, though, for example.The mouse’s buttons click nice and quietly. I haven’t had any problems functionally or mechanically with either device. Again, I’d highly recommend it.Last thing, not sure if Amazon always ships the same items in the same containers, but it comes in long, narrow box, because the mouse is packaged next to and not on top of or to the top of the keyboard. And this box was placed inside a particularly large shipping box for some reason. Again, not sure if Amazon always uses the same boxes to ship items. I just thought it was odd to see such a large box on my porch for a keyboard and mouse. You might want to take this into account if you live in an area that has high crime where a thief might be more likely to take a bigger box simply because he thinks it might contain a larger, more valuable item inside. Nonetheless, it only weighed 4 lbs, so my whole idea on this my be ridiculous.Anyways, 5 stars all the way. I’d buy again in the future barring long-term longevity issues that may arise in the future. If they do, hopefully I’ll remember to come back here and update this review to reflect those issues.

We purchased 10 of these for our new office build out. They are a great bargain for what you get. The haptics on the keyboard are nice and register each key stroke accurately. The mouse will have some false clicks but just click again and it registers. Cables are long enough for a proper cubical office setup. No driver necessary to connect and plugs right up out of the box.

Perfect and efficient combo mouse + keyboard for a very low price !
I was actually about to do I big mistake buying a Magic Mouse and an Apple Bluetooth keyboard for 100 dollars, so i finally decided to find an alternative affordable solution to get my mac mini a mouse and a keyboard i can work with.I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, and my experience with it was very positive :It is very quiet, comfortable to use, has a slim layout with all of the standard PC keyboard keys, and overall works fine. It’s a really great deal and I have yet to run into any problems with the keyboards. If you go in any other retailer i’m pretty sur you will not find a price as low as this one.The only thing to keep in mind is that this keyboard is (of course) not optimized for mac, however, being a basic USB keyboard with no extra functionality, i had no compatibility problems with my computer running Linux. The mouse is simple but i really do love the soft skin touch, which is much better that my old DELL ex-mouse. Amazon did surprise me on this one !I honestly don’t regret this choice as i don’t see any reason i should have spent more than 15 dollars for a keyboard or a mouse. Unless you have some specific need such as gaming or designing, this keyboard and mouse are a good deal !

I first bought one of these about 15 years ago in the States. I used a Logitech K750 at the time and I think that was the best keyboard for typing that I ever used.Back to the Amazon Basics wired keyboard – I use this for EVERYTHING, including gaming, and it is the best overall wired keyboard I have ever used. The space in between the keys is absolutely necessary when you have bigger hands. The keyboard is spill resistant and typing on it is a breeze. Travel is about medium-low, which is great when you are a faster typist. The only bad is that the letters wear out eventually. If it weren’t for that, I could see myself using one of these babies for a decade, no problem. The controls for volume up, volume down and mute are placed comfortably on the top right. This is a full sized keyboard and it doesn’t have the little feet to prop it, the curvature of the board does that automatically. It is extremely sturdy – drop proof and no keys have ever come out of the board. This is a 5/5 stars, 100% recommended. Please keep in mind I’m not comparing this keyboard with a premium, pricey board, but rather with other boards in the price range with similar features.

If ‘Basic’ means it doesn’t have distracting illumination all over the place, or isn’t made from some combination of clashing coloured plastic, and doesn’t pump out infinitely boring drum&bass key sounds … then it’s ‘Basic’. But if you were looking for a practical, working, every day keyboard that doesn’t take up half a desk, but does everything you need of it …. this one’s for you!
